Human Origins, Genome & People of India was a National conference held in New Delhi leading to a massive project “Human Origins, Genome & People of India” launched by the Anthropological Survey of India in 2005.
It was a first-time collective endeavour of the notable Indian scientists, namely human genome scientists, the paleoanthropologists, paleontologists, palaeoecologists, prehistoric archaeologists, osteo-biographers and others on the complex subject of human origins and evolution with focus on the Indian sub-continent /South Asia. All of them had assembled at the India International Centre, New Delhi from March 22–24, 2004 for a conference on the theme.
Astro Links took care of end-to-end works for an exhibition that was held in the National Museum, Delhi along with this prestigious conference, and is proud to have been associated with this very important project.
