Statues and Sculptures
The interpretation of a story in a display entails a strong visual support which is rendered by making statues and sculptures of related events, in order to make them come alive. We make busts and statues of heroes and sculptures of events of utmost importance to lay emphasis to subjects under treatment.
Statues and busts are made out of a variety of materials like bronze and other metals or alloys, fiberglass etc in life size and several other sizes for both indoor and outdoor display. Statues and busts made by us are displayed in different parts of the country and in foreign countries also.
Murals
Painted and high or low relief murals are planned for museum galleries and in the interiors and exteriors of heritage buildings. In order to artistically depict the themes which the onlooker needs to see and comprehend the subject matter or chronology which is being dealt with, murals are one such medium. At times just to beautify a concept and not repeat photographs and write-ups, murals are used.
Murals created by us include painting on canvas, FRG relief, terracotta or metal caste , ceramic and glass tiles or even a jumble of various materials. Murals made of cement concrete have also been successfully made.
Dioramas
Diorama is a unique display of a subject with 3-D sculptures in the foreground merging into relief sculpture and the relief into a 2-D painting on canvas. All matched together into a single scene. It requires a master planner to first visualize and then put together the works of mural painter, sculptors, lighting and sometimes projection and sound/audio experts too.
Astro Links has produced dioramas on a variety of subjects, ranging from war scenes to epics, historical scenes,achievements, depiction of technology [old and new], ventures etc. which are used in museums and exhibitions all over India.
